DAY 6. 26/01


On my sixth day in Germany, everything seemed different. I felt like staying there and not returning to Spain, probably because I was having such a good time. In the morning, we went to school like any other day and returned home around 1 PM. We had lunch, and Clara and I watched an episode of the series I was watching (La Casa de Papel). After that, my host father, Frida, Clara, and I got in the car and headed to drop Clara off at ballet class. Later, we went to a supermarket to buy groceries, and I realized that prices in Germany weren't as high as I had expected. After finishing the shopping, we picked up Clara and went to my host mother's brother's house for a game night. Once we arrived, we had dinner and played a game called Activity. I had such a great time! At that very moment, I knew that nothing could go wrong during my stay in Germany.

DAY 0. 24/02

Today, February 24th, I am writing my last Erasmus blog entry while I am on the plane back to Spain. As you may have noticed, I have decided to name this entry day 0 instead of day 35 because today is not only the end of our stay in Germany, but also the beginning of our stay in Spain with our host sisters, or rather with our friends, because we have not only created a very good friendship among us, but we have also decided not to lose contact when we are no longer together. Erasmus has been one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. And not only because it has helped me learn English or become independent, but it has also shown me that I will always have a place in Germany. One of the things I am most grateful for to the program is for forcing me to meet someone who has become very special to me. DAY 20-21. 09/02-10/02

The next day, Friday morning, I was feeling unwell and decided not to go to school. However, in the afternoon I started feeling better and began to pack my suitcase. Once finished, we gathered everything and my family and I set off towards Italy. The following week was the start of the carnival holidays, which is why we had decided to rent a house for four days in the South Tyrol, in the Alps. Upon arrival, we unpacked and settled into our new home. The next day, we had breakfast to gather our strength and the whole family went hiking. The views were incredible. At that moment, I realized that my vacation in Italy would be unforgettable.

DAY 1 21/01

  The first day in Germany was incredible! First, we took a bus from Logroño to Bilbao and then another bus that would take us to LOIU airport. After that, we checked in our luggage and took off to an unknown destination for us. Upon landing, we grabbed our suitcases and met our host sisters. Clara and her mother took me to what would be my home for a month and showed me all the rooms in the house.  Later, Clara and Frida, one of my host sisters, took me for a walk, and we saw all those beautiful snow-covered landscapes. Finally, I had dinner with my host family and met the rest of my siblings, Ana and Noa. It was an amazing day when I realized that ERASMUS+ would be one of the best experiences of my adolescence.
